For four years archeological studies have been conducted in ‘Aleksana Ghuze Cave’, near the village of Karintak, and the discovered material has attracted the attention of not only Armenian, but also foreign specialists. Located on a transit point, the cave can provide with important information on human mobility. We have already had the initial, but weighty arguments. The scientific study of the discovered human tooth showed that from the maternal side we have a genetic link with people who lived here 6900 years ago. That is to say, the fact that the people of Artsakh are indigenous people is not disputable.
